Give

God is generous to us in so many ways –not the least of which is salvation.  He gives us "life and breath and everything" and does not need anything from us in any way (Acts 17:25). Yet, we can rightly respond to His generosity with gratitude and generosity of our own.  Our response of giving is truly an act of worship, not an obligation or duty.

Through gifts of time, talent, or money, we can partner with Ellington Baptist Church to extend the ministry of the church.  God calls the church to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, to minister to each other as we have needs, and to demonstrate Christ’s love to others outside of the church, as well.

So, as the apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 9,

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
